Material Handler

​

Essential Duties

  • Cleans all press parts including: Ink pans, hoses, Dr. blade chambers, and ink pumps. 

  • Ensure a clean and safe work area.  

  • Optimize safety (food and workplace), quality, yield, and productivity. 

  • Responsible for Recycling Plate Solvent & Press Wash; Operating the 150 & 350 

  • Responsible for Operating the parts washer 

  • Responsible for Managing Hazardous Waste 

  • Responsible for Labeling all containers based on the Local, State, & Federal Regulations 

  • Lifting, up to but not exceeding, 50 lbs. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

  • Be available to cover absences within the department as requested by management. 

  • Cover the off-shift vacations and PTO 

 

SQF/Food Safety Responsibilities

  • Assure compliance with all SQF Procedure requirements. 

  • Assure compliance with all GMP requirements. 

  • Assure compliance with all 5S procedures and requirements.
