Job Title: Jr. Graphics Project Manager

Reports To: Graphics Manager

Back-up Position: Graphics Project Manager

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for a small portfolio of assigned customers, managing their flexographic graphics projects from concept to delivery under supervision of Graphics Project Managers and the Graphics Manager.
Coordinate with internal teams (graphics, prepress, operations) and customers to ensure artwork meets specifications, deadlines, and quality requirements
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report potential delays to senior staff.
Review artwork proofs, ensuring compliance with client branding, technical specifications and print requirements under supervision of senior staff.
Maintain accurate project documentation, job history and order entry.
Manage up to 5 concurrent customers, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines with guidance from senior staff.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality graphics on time and within spec.
Work with Graphics Manager on process improvement requirements as needed.
Follows all safety requirements, policies and reports any unsafe conditions in the proper format
Complete all billing within Graphics Department in a timely manner
Train on other positions in the Graphics Department
Back-up plate maker
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to learning and improving processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to guidance from senior team members.
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
Entry-level experience in flexographic printing or packaging production.
Eagerness to develop project management skills.
Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite), and prepress workflow software (Esko) is a plus
Proficiency in Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
