Graphics Manager

Reports To: Vice-President of Manufacturing

Back-up Position: Graphics Coordinator

Essential Duties

  •  Manage all pre-press graphics activities including supervising the activities of associates in the Graphics Department.

  • Establishes process procedures and trains artists for optimal production efficiencies to be realized.

  • Assures production contracts are filled out correctly.

  • Clearly communicates and documents customer requirements.

  • Serves as liaison between customers and prepress production to accurately produce artwork to their specifications in a timely manner.

  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and maintains accurate and detailed notes and records.

  • Processes and coordinates art requests in an organized and timely manner.

  • Manages workflow of customer orders with clear and concise understanding of their requirements.

  • Supports the production graphics needs for the sales department.

  • Meets with sales staff and managers to discuss the objectives and requirements for jobs as necessary.

  • Provides regular feedback on project status.

  • Reviews final design specifications and advises on job layouts and digital files for production pre-press ready files.

  • Works individually, as well as collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers to ensure quality and timeliness of the finished product.

  • Proofreads work to ensure quality and accuracy, as needed.
     

SQF/Food Safety Responsibilities

  • Assure compliance with all SQF Procedure requirements.

  • Assure compliance with all GMP requirements.

  • Assure compliance with all 5S procedures and requirements.

  • Assure all products are manufactured in a safe, quality manner.

  • Assure compliance with all customer specifications.

  • Promote and enforce compliance with all employees.
