Production Artist

​

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and previous experience with flexographic printing and pre-press production. The artist will be responsible for helping to ensure customer requirements are met thru production art builds that are consistent with required print specifications and industry standards. It’s imperative that the artist we invite to join our team will work well with others and have great communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Light computer/software maintenance

• Pre-press production art for flexible packaging projects / flexographic printing

• Dieline development and Mechanical Art builds

• Production friendly creative packaging design

• Specialized projects geared to advance current technological and practical processes

•  Upkeep of art files, assets and related information

• Overtime required as needed

• Communication is a must!

 

Job Requirements

• Degree in Art / Pre-Press Production related field

• Experience with Flexographic Pre-press Production Art

• Must be available for M-F 8am to 5pm schedule with occasional overtime as needed

• Expert level skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

•  Very Detail Oriented and Consistent 

• User knowledge of Packz and Prinergy

• Print Knowledge / Ability to recognize basic issues in print

• Graphic Design Skills are a plus!
